Overview:​

Olana Ghattas comes from the renowned home of Vicky and Thorsten Brosius in Germany. Thorsten, a world-renowned handler, has showcased some of the most elite German Shepherds on the planet. Olana wasn’t the obvious choice—she was the last pick in a premium litter. But Vicky saw something extraordinary in her, something no one else did. And she was right.

 

Today, Olana stands among the most influential producers of her time. She is the dam of Othella von der Burg Aliso, a breathtaking young star who could claim the BSZS championship in Germany this year—the pinnacle of German Shepherd excellence.

 

As a mother, Olana is everything one could hope for: nurturing, fiercely protective, and deeply invested in her puppies. She corrects them with precision, fosters their confidence, and ensures they are strong, balanced, and ready for the world. But Olana’s brilliance extends far beyond motherhood. She is a once-in-a-lifetime dog—bubbly, outgoing, and an unwaveringly loyal companion. She follows her handler anywhere, radiating trust and confidence. Every vet she meets adores her, and she is gentle enough to be handled by children.

 

Yet, beneath her kindness lies the unmistakable strength of a true German Shepherd—dominant, fearless, and passing those exceptional traits to her offspring. A natural athlete and worker, Olana took to bite work in record time, showcasing both power and precision and is IGP2 titled.

 

Yet, despite her drive and working intensity, her greatest love is simply being with her family—living life alongside them, deeply connected, every step of the way.​

Her father is Tell Ghattas. Tell competed in Germany multiple times, consistently earning top placements between 2017 and 2021 including VA in 2021 and 2022 at the BSZS. He is known for his striking presence on the field but also for his rare combination of power, control, and intelligence. What sets Tell apart is his ability to switch seamlessly between high-intensity working modes and calm, clear-headed obedience — a trait that has made him a favorite among handlers and judges alike. He is one of the few males of his generation to produce both high-scoring IGP competitors and solid, stable dogs for real-world working applications.
 

Her mother is G-Mari da Terra da Garoa, a striking female with balanced drives and confident temperament. G-Mari carries the legacy of the renowned Terra da Garoa kennel, known for producing dogs with exceptional nerve strength, athleticism, and stability.  Her contribution to Olana’s temperament and structure is undeniable, grounding the female with both grit and elegance.

Together, Tell and G-Mari have produced Olana Ghattas, a dog whose pedigree is more than just impressive names — it’s a living, breathing example of what happens when thoughtful breeding meets excellence in form and function.
